League Rules

GAME RULES

Basketball BC would like to emphasize that the rules of play are to be strictly followed by all coaches, and failure to do so may result in game forfeiture. Rules concerns should be brought to the attention of the on-site coordinator. The process is as follows:
  1. A verbal warning will be given.
  2. A second offense is an automatic bench technical foul. The opposing team is granted a free throw and the ball back.
  3. A third offense bench technical foul may result in ejection and forfeiture
It is vital that coaches respect one another and abide by the same rules.  We are relying on coaches to self-enforce, with the support of the on-site coordinator. We hope coaches will set a good example for their athletes, and that we can all practice fair play. Please read the rules carefully and do your best to practice and implement them throughout the season.
